Bamboo stool constructed by repeating a single element . Each element was made by heat bending bamboo. The project was the outcome of a one month bamboo workshop held by Bamboo studio of National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute,. It is my first experience with bamboo, I learned a lot about the basics of working with bamboo (splitting, bending) and the possibilities and limitations of the material.
曲竹凳是由四片孟宗竹片所構成，每個物件都經過加熱彎曲並且定型，設計靈感來自於植物最後以編織的方式加強結構強度。很榮幸有機會參加國立台灣工藝研究發展中心這次的竹藝研習，在為期一個半月的時間內，學習了各種竹材加工技法，在最後完成了曲竹凳與絲竹燈這兩件作品。
